Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Data Marketplace (the "Service"), an early-access data marketplace operated as a beta release. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Beta service
Data Marketplace is provided during a beta period on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Features may change, break, or be removed, and data is not guaranteed to be retained. Do not rely on the Service for production or business-critical workloads during beta.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and API keys, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
3. Data and content
You retain ownership of datasets you upload. You represent that you have the rights to share any data you publish and that it complies with applicable law. Datasets are scanned for personally identifiable information before publishing; you must acknowledge any detected PII before a dataset goes live.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to distribute unlawful, infringing, or malicious content, to violate the privacy of others, or to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
5. Payments
Paid subscriptions and dataset purchases are processed by Stripe. Charges are described at the point of purchase. Beta pricing may change with notice.
6. Disclaimer and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Data Marketplace disclaims all warranties and shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service during the beta period.
